Dosimetric properties of potassium magnesium borate glass doped with copper

چکیده

Abstract The present article deals with potassium magnesium borate glass activated copper that was prepared by a melting quenching technique to study the feasibility of this as radiation dosimeter. glasses were characterized through X-ray diffraction and FTIR spectroscopy some optical physical parameters have been interpreted. thermoluminescence properties samples studied, results revealed doped 0.07 wt% has highest thermoluminescent response. glow curve seven overlapping peaks maximum temperatures 383.09, 400.71, 413.26, 426.59, 445.98, 476.57 534.04 K, TL-response is linear from 0.11 165 Gy. From study, mol% may be applicable for measuring dose.
